Festifall & Northfest

Festifall and NorthFest are opportunities for any campus organization or university department to showcase what they have to offer to the greater student community. These events occur every Fall semester on both the Diag and North Campus Diag. They are excellent ways to recruit new members and publicize your organization. These are ideal opportunities to learn about the over 1000 student organizations on campus and discover how to make a difference at Michigan.

Festifall is on the Diag 9/10/09
Registration is OPEN & costs $30. Check your status

NorthFest is on the North Campus Diag 9/17/09
Registration is OPEN & costs $25. Check your status

Festifall and NorthFest are incredibly popular venues for students to recruit. If Festifall or NorthFest registration is closed and full, waitlist procedures are as follows:

Waitlist Procedures

• Waitlist lottery opens Thursday morning at 9:30 AM under the canopy on the Diag
  • SAL will accept student organizations to be placed on the waitlist
  • Fill out a Waitlist Drawing Slip (name, email, organization)
• Waitlist closes at 10:30 AM
• Random drawing at 10:35 AM
  • Tables will be assigned after drawing
• Organizations participating in the waitlist need to:
  • Be present to receive their table
  • Be a registered student organization
  • Have $30 for FestiFall, $25 for NorthFest (cash) upon registering
  • Be prepared to set-up your table (6 or 8 feet in length)
• NOTE: participation in the waitlist is dependent on no-shows and extra tables; the waitlist does not guarantee a table

Check-in Procedures

• Check-in starts Thursday morning at 9:00 AM under the canopy on the Diag
• Check-in closes at 10:15 AM
  • IF YOU ARE LATER THAN 10:15, YOUR TABLE WILL BE GIVEN AWAY!
• Student organizations must staff their tables from 11-4.
• At 4:00pm:
  • clean the area around your table
  • return your table and chairs to designated area
  • Failure to comply with Festifall and Northfest policies will result in a $40 fine.
